Love building preservation

with the goal that more of our beautiful buildings in the countryside are allowed to remain and be taken care of.

About the project

The purpose of the project is that more of our beautiful buildings in the countryside are allowed to remain and be taken care of.

The goal of the project is to spread easily accessible knowledge about building preservation and sustainable construction, offer tools for loan free of charge, and create meetings around practical learning and knowledge exchange.

The project consists of offering workshops and lectures with knowledgeable leaders, primarily in Kvarnbyn, but also in other villages in the local area. The project also includes the establishment and loan of a mobile building preservation workshop as well as communication efforts that inspire sustainable construction, reuse, and preservation of older buildings.

Efforts

”Through lectures, practical workshops, and a mobile building preservation workshop, we want to make knowledge about building preservation accessible to more and create meetings around our shared built cultural heritage.”
