During the period 2023-2027, Leader Skellefteå älvdal, which includes Skellefteå, Malå, and Norsjö municipalities, has been allocated a budget of approximately 32 million SEK. The money will be used to develop the countryside through projects driven by people who live and work in the area. During the board meeting on August 21, projects totaling 3.7 million SEK were prioritized. The projects will be implemented in all 3 municipalities.

The new application period is now open for expressions of interest until October 1. The projects should be accessible to everyone, and the Leader office assists applicants from start to finish, says Monica Marklund and Carolina Lönnberg, Operations Managers, Leader Skellefteå älvdal.
