Leisure and housing
Focus area 2 includes leisure and housing. In Leader Skellefteå Älvdal there are conditions for quality of life in many respects. Efforts are needed to facilitate living in the countryside and to make the area attractive. The local population's pride and trust in their community is credible and effective marketing towards visitors and potential newcomers.
In an attractive area, efforts are needed that contribute to increased social cohesion, increased security, and meaningful leisure. The association life plays a significant role in the work with activities and meeting places.
Focus area 2 encompasses projects that contribute to leisure and housing through:
- development of attractive housing and living environments
- to create or develop social and inclusive meeting places
- to strengthen and develop the range of activities
- to utilize and make natural and cultural resources accessible
Focus areas
Focus areas constitute the strategy's tools and indicate in which areas the development efforts should take place. The efforts are based on a completed SWOT analysis, survey, and area description. Based on identified needs, there are two additional focus areas. These are; collaboration, participation, and hospitality as well as sustainability, local offerings, and entrepreneurship.
